BOULDER, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 02/20/13 -- SendGrid, the leader in email deliverability, today announced the second leg of its national tour aimed at educating web application companies on email deliverability. Kicking off in Austin on February 27 and including stops in Seattle on April 10 and Boston on May 8, the full day events are open to all regional web app developers and marketers interested in learning more about email deliverability best practices and getting the most from an email provider. Events will include guest presentations from Hubspot, Windows Azure and Twilio, as well as an API workshop and happy hour.
Attendees will also gain a better understanding of transactional email's role in driving higher ROI, and will learn how to navigate the ISP landscape with strong email deliverability. SendGrid's developer evangelists will be on hand to demo SendGrid APIs, and answer one-on-one questions about integration with SendGrid's cloud-based transactional email infrastructure service. SendGrid currently counts 100,000 web application companies and developers as customers, including foursquare, Pinterest, Airbnb, Twilio, Spotify and Pandora.
"After receiving great feedback from those that attended the first leg of SendGrid Delivered last fall, we knew we wanted to extend the event to host developers and marketers working for web application companies in cities known for their startup communities and tech sector strength," said Robert Phillips, Vice President of Marketing, SendGrid. "Attendees of our Austin, Seattle and Boston events will come away with a better understanding of how to make sure their app-generated email reaches their users, what technical issues to be aware of and how to seamlessly integrate their applications with SendGrid."
SendGrid Delivered is free to attend, but space is limited. Those interested in attending can reserve a seat in their city by visiting: http://go.sendgrid.com/Delivered2013_Roadshow.html.
