BOSTON, February 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Equipos Limited today announced that DIAM International, the London-based subsidiary of DIAM Co. Ltd., has selected Equipos Coric™ to automate the firm's Global and European Portfolio client reporting process. DIAM will deploy the hosted version of Coric, powered by Microsoft® Windows Azure™, enabling the firm to go live with a cost-effective best practice client reporting solution in less than eight weeks.
With more than USD127 billion assets under management and offices in London, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore, DIAM is one of the world's largest investment managers of Japanese pension funds.
Coric Client Communications is a multi-award-winning end-to-end client reporting and communications suite used by buy-side firms to enrich the client experience and gain operational efficiency through client reporting automation. Coric's best practice business process automation tools will streamline DIAM's client reporting process, and its sophisticated Layout Builder will empower business users to build and modify marketing-quality reports without technical assistance. Structured and unstructured data can be retrieved from any source and presented in a client-centric way. Coric's easy-to-use dashboards and out-of-the-box workflows will allow DIAM management to effectively monitor report delivery.
Jan Weber, Chief Financial Officer at DIAM International, comments: "Coric will significantly increase the efficiency of every DIAM reporting cycle. Our marketing team will provide fast turnarounds for clients and regulators requesting report modifications and they will spend more time engaging with institutional clients. The hosted Coric infrastructure requires no capital outlay or ongoing maintenance for us, which has made the adoption of best practice client reporting automation much more affordable."
"The hosted version of Coric is an ideal fit for DIAM," says Simon Turner, Chief Technology Officer at Equipos. "There is no difference in Coric functionality between hosted and on-premise infrastructures. We are delighted to be working with DIAM to deliver this highly scalable, flexible and cost-effective client reporting solution. Microsoft Windows Azure offers a robust and secure platform, and as a Microsoft Gold Partner this was the natural choice to underpin our hosted offering."
