-- Company's First iOS Developer UI Toolset Delivers High Performance, Highly Visual iPad & iPhone Applications
CRANBURY, New Jersey and UXBRIDGE, England, Nov. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Infragistics, the design and user experience (UX) software company and a world leader in user interface (UI) development tools and business productivity apps, today debuts NucliOS, a suite of native iOS UI controls to build state-of-the-art applications for iPad and iPhone.
NucliOS provides Apple developers with an alternative to today's open source offerings. As more organizations implement Bring Your Own Device programs, enterprises need applications designed and built natively for iPhones and iPads. Created with performance and style in mind, NucliOS delivers the core controls and powerful control architecture to create meaningful mobile apps.
"Infragistics brings its 20-plus years of UI control design experience to Apple iOS developers," said Dean Guida, CEO of Infragistics. "NucliOS, the first commercial class and enterprise-supported UI toolkit for iOS development, was built specifically for Apple developers using familiar APIs and following Apple best practices. These controls are easy to implement, fast, powerful and perfect for consumer and enterprise mobile application development with truly native iOS experiences."
In this release, Infragistics introduces its powerful Data Chart control to render iOS charts with hundreds of thousands of data points capable of millisecond updates. Heavy-duty data visualizations and analysis on large volumes of data can be completed with the more than 20 chart types included. Using the Motion Framework within the Data Chart control, end users can track data changes over time through highly-engaging visualizations and fluid animations.
In addition to the Data Chart, NucliOS includes Infragistics leading Data Grid. Implemented as either a data-focused grid or a versatile layout tool, developers can create compelling user experiences on the iPhone and iPad. With screen real estate at a premium, the NucliOS Grid can be used as a single column list when other important elements need to be shown. Using Infragistics Data Source Helper, developers use protocols to quickly bind arrays to the grid. Once populated with data, end users can easily manipulate the data and chose a flexible layout option to present the data exactly as it is needed.
"We look forward to developing a strong and loyal following of Apple developers," added Guida. "Today's NucliOS release continues our tradition of UI design excellence and opens the door to further innovation on the iOS platform."
Please see the NucliOS product page for a complete list of new features.
