Urban Airship has also signed an alliance agreement with Microsoft Corp. to provide push messaging services on Windows Azure.
Urban Airship's high-performance push messaging service enables businesses to send broadcast notifications as well as highly targeted messages to app users in order to drive engagement, increase retention and deliver exceptional experiences. Urban Airship's APIs, client libraries and documentation make it easy to add push messaging to apps developed for Android, BlackBerry, iOS and Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8. Developers can get started immediately by adding Urban Airship's new single codebase client library to their apps for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
