SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/09/12 -- Node Summit, the only conference to focus on how Node.js is transforming the future of computing, concluded last week, drawing a sold-out crowd of over 650 business leaders and technology experts. During the conference, seven companies took home prizes in the NodeJam competition. Selected from 35 finalists, the NodeJam winners presented their innovative Node.js applications and services in front of a distinguished panel of judges at Node Summit.
Node Summit was the first-ever event devoted entirely to the business implications of the server-side JavaScript environment Node.js. Technology visionaries convened to discuss how Node.js is enabling the creation of real-time, high performance, scalable, networked applications. In a series of interactive debates, panels, and keynote sessions, speakers debated how Node.js will impact businesses and consumers, and shared visionary ideas for future implementations.
Anyone interested in Node.js should follow @nodesummit on Twitter and sign up to the Node Summit email list to be notified when video, slides and photos from the conference sessions become available online, and to stay up-to-date on the latest Node.js news.
NodeJam Winners
Evaluated by a distinguished panel of industry judges and by audience review, the NodeJam winners were selected based on the quality of their Node.js application or service, the market potential for the company, and their overall innovation and vision.
