IT infrastructure service provider Connectria (connectria.com) announced on Wednesday it has launched a new dedicated server hosting company called RedPlaid Managed Hosting (redplaid.com), designed to meet the hosting needs of smaller organizations looking for a secure and affordable solution.
Since its inception in 1996, Connectria has acquired a number of blue-chip clients including IBM, Deutsche Bank, Union Pacific, Federated Department Stores, and Goodyear.
RedPlaid uses Connectria's security and reliability technologies and bundles them into dedicated hosting plans that employ customized Dell PowerEdge servers and run on Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux. The company says its high-level security ensures customer servers won't be hacked into or compromised - a promise it says is backed by one of the dedicated server business’s best service level agreements.
The managed hosting plans also include a 100 percent network uptime guarantee, a 100 percent data center uptime guarantee, and a 99.9 percent server uptime guarantee. The company says it provides each customer with server management, round-the-clock customer support and access to a dedicated team of engineers.
